Bridge the Gap

This program provided training to graduate and unemployed women and girls with background in Technical and Vocational Education to equip them with requisite skills in Digital Fabrication, Internet of Things and Web Development. With the aim of providing employability and Entrepreneurship skills among participants Prior to the training participants had no knowledge in any of these skills but graduated into geniuses after the training. Participants were selected from the 16 regions of Ghana hence there was a residential facility where they stayed and transportation available to and from the facility for lectures to the place of residence. Participants had internship placements after training while others created new jobs as Entrepreneurs with startups that are in sectors of Health, Education, Manufacturing among others. .

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Programme for Sustainable Economic Development (PSED), Innovation Factory and Eskills4Girls in collaboration with the Bridge the Gap Initiative through Kumasi Hive. .
